Fricken Lasers

I went to my Lasik consultation today. After a good 2 hours there with a lady that wouldn't stop talking about her breasts and depression (ok so that was only like a half hour at the very end.. but seriously don't want to know about it) I am ready to get the procedure. With the exception of the boob lady everyone was very helpful and informative and professional. I'm pretty excited about it all really. It was a little more expensive than I had hoped but its going to last where I won't need glasses or contacts for a good 20 years. I think that's a decent investment. it's $2,099 per eye but by insurance does a 15% discount and for this month they had a special extra 5% off. so for both eyes it comes up to $3,389.88. And I have it financed 0 down 0 interest for 6 months I believe it was. So well worth it.
And also as long as I do all of my follow up exams (1 day 1 week 1 month and 3 months) they cover any touch ups that may be done, in case my eyes change in my lifetime!

The next thing on my list is to get my hair did. I'm thinking soon. Very soon. I gotta figure out the number for the place I go to and then probably within April.

Not much else happening in these parts. Heading to my parents in a little bit for spaghetti! YAY. I love home cooked meals that I don't have to worry about.

  1. As you've heard, the cost will not even flitter through your mind after the fact. And really, it's not all that much, when you have to figure eye exams, contacts, glasses for so many years! I'm very excited for you because I know how amazing Glenn thinks it is!!

So will you cut all of your hair off, or just a bit with a different style? I liked your pic on facebook, but damn, it's so hard to have that short of hair EVERY day. You can't even put it up in a pony tail... it's rough! When I chopped my hair off after the wedding, I specifically told my hair dresser that it needed to be long enough to still put into the tiniest of pony tails. lol.

  2. good luck with the Lasik! I am such a chicken I would love to have it done (especially now) but I just can't get over people coming at my eyes with little lasers :) can't wait to hear how it goes!
